1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Immigie ("the Platform"), operated at immigie.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Platform. We may update these terms from time to time, and your continued use of Immigie after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
2. Account Registration
To use certain features of Immigie, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account information up-to-date. You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
You must be at least 16 years of age to create an account. By registering, you represent that you meet this age requirement.
3. User Content
You retain ownership of content you post on Immigie. By posting content, you grant Immigie a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your content in connection with operating and providing the Platform. You may remove your content at any time, which will terminate this license, except where the content has been shared with others and they have not deleted it.
You are solely responsible for the content you post and represent that you have all necessary rights to share such content.
4. Community Guidelines
Immigie is a platform built to connect diaspora communities. To maintain a safe and welcoming environment, you agree not to:
- Post content that is hateful, discriminatory, threatening, or harassing
- Impersonate another person or entity
- Share spam, misleading content, or malicious links
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or systems
- Use the Platform for any illegal activity
- Scrape, harvest, or collect user data without authorization
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Platform
We reserve the right to remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these guidelines at our sole discretion.
5. Premium Subscriptions
Immigie may offer premium subscription plans with additional features. Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, depending on the plan selected). Unless you cancel your subscription before the next billing cycle, it will automatically renew.
Refunds are handled in accordance with applicable law and our refund policy. We reserve the right to modify subscription pricing with reasonable advance notice.
6. Intellectual Property
The Immigie name, logo, design, and all associated trademarks, service marks, and proprietary content are owned by Immigie. You may not use, copy, or distribute any of our intellectual property without prior written consent. The Platform and its original content (excluding user-generated content) remain the exclusive property of Immigie and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable laws.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Immigie and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, whether incurred directly or indirectly, arising from your use of the Platform.
The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Platform will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
8. Termination
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using the account deletion feature in your settings. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform will immediately cease.
9. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved through good faith negotiation, and if necessary, through binding arbitration or in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
